AHA Moments!

I am very glad that I took this class. It was one of the more enjoyable classes that I took here by far and thats saying a lot especially when this is my 3rd year here...I've learned quite a few things that I will carry with me for my major. One of the AHA Moments I had in class was when someone in my table answered a hard question on jeopardy that was really interesting. It was a question that was about racist slogans on TV. Another AHA Moment I had was in a class discussion about hidden advertising in movies... I had never noticed how much advertising there is in the media that we don't even know about. Another AHA Moment i had was when we matched the film "This Film Is Not Yet Rated". I never knew that major movie corporations had that much of an influence on ratings. The system needs to be fixed so more indepedent filmmakers could go out there and release their movies in mainstream theaters.
